Dawn began playing music at a young age gradually perfecting her technical abilities and gaining respect and credibility throughout the North East.  During her years of playing she has colaborated with many orchestras and musicians  on a varied range of projects. 

Her interests are widespread encompasing Classical, modern and jazz and her performances have included national orchestras, ceilidh bands, function bands plus quartet and small ensemble work. 

She leads the Andrelli String quartet and has led the New Tyneside Orchestra for several years.  She is also a current member of the London Gala Orchestra.
